Q.1. How many days can we participate?
Maximum Five Days a week, Monday to Friday (as per the timings)
Q.2. Who can join?
Any aspiring student Age 8 to 15 Years can join and play.
Q.3. Is Sports kit provided to the players?
No, the sports kit has to be brought by the players themselves.
Q.4. Is a sports dress necessary?
Yes
Q.5. Is the Academy providing Transportation facility?
No.
Q.6. Who are the trainers?
Efficient coaches will be there to train the students who have played at the National Level & and who have trained the players for national level teams.
Q.7. Is refreshment provided by the Academy?
No, but students can bring their water bottles.
Q.8. Why East Delhi Basketball Academy?
East Delhi Basketball Academy is organized to train students at the preliminary stage so that they can equip themselves better with sports skills to be future players. And they are able to represent school level, state level, national level and can play at international level.
Q.9. How will you ensure my child is safe?
Anyone coming inside the school is to check in with ED Basketball staff before entering the Court. All coaches, administrative staff, and volunteers are required to have a criminal record check done. We will also be going over safety rules with all our athletes before the start of each session.
Q.10. What should my child bring to a game/training session?
Reusable water bottle
Snacks /Fruits
Basketball shoes (grip soles preferred)
T-Shirts with Shorts / Track Pant
Basketball (Size of Basketball For Juniors- 5 and Seniors-7 - with name written on the ball)
Q.11. What age does an athlete need to be to attend the Academy?
ED Basketball Summer camp participants must be between the ages of 8-17. Players will initially be separated by age but assessed based on skill level. Athletes performing at a level above peers in their age group will be placed in an older age category (after obtaining parental consent) to ensure athletes are consistently being challenged and attaining their true potential.
Q.12. What happens if my child gets injured?
In the case of a serious injury, an incident report will be taken reporting the details of the injury. In minor cases, the injury may require rest and ice. In the case of a severe emergency, an ambulance will be called to the campsite and the camper will be accompanied by a staff member. The emergency contact will be notified as soon as possible.
Q.13. What happens if my child gets into a physical altercation?
We have a zero tolerance policy for fighting and bullying, anyone engaged in such acts will be subject to removal from our programs without refund!
Q.14. When should I pay the fees and what method of payment is acceptable?
ED Basketball Academy accepts cheques, cash, and online payments. All payments should be made before the first day of the session start date. A receipt will be provided.

RULES AND REGULATIONS
RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR EAST DELHI BASKETBALL ACADEMY (EDBA)
1. Admission Rights: The right to admission in the Basketball Training programmes is reserved with The East Delhi Basketball Academy (EDBA).
2. Adherence to Timings and Discipline: All players/trainees must adhere to the scheduled timings and maintain discipline within the Academy, as well as respect the decorum of the school and basketball court.
3. Proper Kit Requirement: During coaching sessions, all players/trainees must be dressed in their playing kit, which will be issued by the Academy at the time of admission.
4. I-Card / Gate Pass: Players must carry their I-Card / Gate Pass issued by the Academy every time they enter the school premises or playfield.
5. Personal Belongings: All players must take care of their personal belongings and valuables. The East Delhi Basketball Academy (EDBA), coaches, and other staff will not be held responsible for any loss of items.
6. Parent Visits: Parents are not allowed to visit coaches during coaching hours. However, they may request an appointment in advance if needed.
7. Expulsion Rights: EDBA reserves the right to expel any student without prior notification if they do not follow the rules and regulations set by the Academy.
8. Injury Disclaimer: The EDBA, school authorities, and coaches will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained during coaching sessions or matches, both in and out of Delhi.
9. Coaching Time Changes: EDBA reserves the right to change coaching times without prior notification.
10. Fee Submission: Fees must be submitted before the 7th of every month.
11. Class Cancellations: EDBA reserves the right to cancel any class due to unavoidable circumstances, such as bad weather. No compensatory class or session will be provided for such cancellations.
12. Class Time/Day Changes: EDBA reserves the right to change the timings or days of the classes due to seasonal changes or emergencies.
13. Non-Refundable Fees: Paid fees are non-refundable, and no adjustments or transfers will be allowed for any month.
14. Parent Responsibility: Parents are requested to ensure they drop off and pick up their children according to the scheduled timings for the coaching class. Teachers and coaches are not responsible for transportation.
15. Required Items for Training: Players must bring the following items with them to the training sessions: Reusable water bottle, Snacks/Fruits, Basketball shoes (preferably with grip soles), T-shirts with shorts or track pants and Basketball (with the correct size: Sub-Junior Boys & Girls: Size 5, Junior & Senior Boys: Size 7 & Junior & Senior Girls: Size 6). Please ensure the player’s name is written on the ball.
